Azuchi-Momoyama sansha nagare-zukuri

In 1650, the main building was rebuilt by large oblation from Tadayuki Kuroda (the second feudal lord of Fukuoka).
The construction style of the main building is called "azuchi-momoyama sansha nagare-zukuri", in which the roof has a flowing shape on the front. (Fukuoka City Cultural Assets)
